The Community Pre vocational program offers individuals opportunities to work on enhancing social skills, pre-employment skills, and provides learning, work, and volunteer opportunities. The program develops general, non-job task-specific strengths and skills that will contribute to the employability in paid community employment.
Community Pre-Vocational
The Community Pre vocational program offers the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of locations while in their community. The volunteer opportunities help the individual to obtain skills that will assist him/her in achieving the goal of competitive employment.
Job Readiness
Job-readiness classes such as resume development, interview techniques, professionalism in the workplace, and how to be a successful employee are provided to individuals to help develop pre-employment skills. Once these classes are attended, the skills are refined and practiced while volunteering in the community.
